Welcome to Palmetto Perinatal Services, a non-profit organization committed to enhancing maternal and infant health outcomes across South Carolina. Our mission is rooted in promoting breastfeeding initiation and duration rates while reducing the incidence of premature births, low birth weight, and other risk factors associated with infant mortality. With a specific focus on Black American infants, who face a higher likelihood of mortality before their first birthday compared to white infants, we strive to address these disparities head-on.

Through these initiatives, we empower expecting parents and families with the knowledge and resources essential for providing their babies with the best possible start in life.
